Types of Dental Implants
Endosteal implants are small titanium posts that are inserted into your jawbone. These are the most commonly used implants among dentists today.
Subperiosteal implants are inserted under your gums but will rest on or above your jawbone. These are used in instances where the patient doesn’t have a healthy jawbone that will support an implant.
